Oops My Bad!!/ Wizard of Oz

Oops my bad!! I forgot about this blog! Well this year has been awesome so I guess I'll just start over and tell what happened since October. In the beginning of December were the auditions for the Northwest musical that is put on every year now. I went in not expecting much because I didn't know very much about Mr. Snell (the choir and musical director) at this time. Now I know the Wizard of OZ like the back of my hand so I thought this would be easy and I would get the part I wanted (Dorothy or Glinda). It turns out that I was not as perfect for those roles as I thought. I thought "These girls are way better then me, I'm going to end up in the Chorus again." Little did I know but that day Mr.Snell decided that this was going to be a double cast musical. So on Friday to my shock and amazement I had been cast for Auntie Em with Kristen Thomas an amazing singer from Vocal Dimension. Having a rather large role in your community musical when your a senior is the best thing that could happen!! For about three months this musical was my life. When I turned down my friends offer to do stuff I found myself saying "I'm sorry I can't, I have musical rehearsal."
